I've finally given into the fact that my Ipod is offically dead. :( I'm also accepting donations for a new one ;)

RIP iPod

ipodApples have taken over my life and not the healthy ediable kind either. My long serving music slave  finally stopped working after a 6 year ordeal of playing music for me while biking, snow boarding, skating, partying, recovering, driving and pretty music everywhere else I go. 

This was actually the first Apple product I divulged in which convinced me that interface and good product design was key and we should not be bothered with irrelavant things. It also lead to several other apple purchases, including my Mac Book Pro and convincing my family, friends, and workmates that they "needed" an Apple too.

So acknowledging the fact its now dead, I'm accepting donations and / or gifts of one or more of the below.

Rant

I was supprised that the brilliant ipod touch didn't release with a higher HDD space, and so I think I'll stick with my Nano, or smaller size, as I just can't justify the cost/ feature gain from buying the touch..

Never the less, I'd still be happy with one, but I think now would prefer the larger disk size, and play time of the classic 160gb version. MMmmm...

Anyone wanting to donate one will make me a very happy person :)

  • I've got a silver 8GB nano for xmas, and its really the idea form-factor - i can comfortably hold it while running, dangle it off the earplugs-cable without risking it to fall, have all my photos *ever* on it, play sonic the hedgehog (!) - ah yeah, and it still plays music, too
