Well it seems winter has arrived early here in München, with a cold blast and lots of snow already!
Snow is a relatively special thing for me at the moment, having never lived in a city where it snows in winter, it's quite a special thing! The Novelty certainly hasn't worn off even after 3 days of heavy snow.
Driving up to Göttingen today we hit a blizzard, which was a special thing in itself. I finally figured out what those little windscreen washers on headlights were for... Snow! When your driving into heavy snow, it backs on and around your lights, so the wipers are there to make sure you don't loose your light!
Either way, the mountains got a huge amount of snow, in three days over 1.7m of snow fell in the alps. This should make for one hell of a winter for boarding!
I'm also pleased to announce the recent acquisition of a new snowboard and bindings. I now have a Rossignol Sultan 163 wide with flow 5 bindings - I can't wait to get them out on the piste!
Fixed ;-)
